So finally i am heaving a sigh of relief....no..my ordeal has not ended yet but yea, i can say that i am halfway thru it.
i am almost done with my grad. exams. only one is left which is after a good15 dayz break. so very soon, i will be able to say "yes.... i am finally a graduate who studied eco for 3 long yrs in du and the experience was not that bad".
But before that, i have to gear up for the entrances that are waiting for me with arms wide open.a thing that will keep me occupied till july ..ohhh...i just wish that there was some other selection procedure.I donot understand the logic behind these entrances.i dont think that a three hour long paper can fairly assess my aptitude, whether i am suitable to do my majors in economics. Its like a gamble that i and many people will play in three hours .A whole lot depends on luck ..yea..simply on my luck.
But , i will play the game with fingers crossed, hoping for the best.
By the way, i got a kind of reality check yesterday.i saw one article regarding obese and underweight people in the newspaper yesterday. Some numbers were given in it to find whether you are an underweight or not.
so,i also took the plunge and calculated my body mass index and i found that i am an underweight!!..I also come in the same bracket...i was taken aback. me.. an underweight?...strange.. how is that possible ? ok..i do have a lean structure but that does not mean that i am undernourished.
The only explanation that i have for this body mass index finding is that maybe i have lost a few kilos in the past month because maybe i was under stress due to exams ( i am least convinced with my reasoning though) but its a fair point, thats plausible enough.
Besides these experiments with the body mass index, life is a dud. Its moving at a snail's pace and this will be the pace for next one or two months.
